Role:
- Maintain inventory of spare parts and tires in case of emergency repairs and assist with the purchase or lease of replacement vehicles.
- Maintaining a fleet inventory of all vehicles owned by the company, including their make and model, purchase date, current mileage, and any outstanding repairs that need to be made
- Ensuring that all company vehicles are insured and registered
- Focuses on coordinating fleet maintenance and repairs including third party vendors to arrange maintenance and repair services for vehicles
- Maintaining records of fuel usage and mileage for each vehicle in order to prepare invoices for billing purposes
- Communicating with vendors or customers regarding service appointments for each vehicle
- Coordinating with insurance companies to file claims for damaged vehicles
- Reporting vehicle accidents or other incidents involving company vehicles to insurance companies or legal departments as appropriate
- Working with the human resources department to schedule employee training on company vehicles or equipment
- Coordinating with the accounting department to arrange for payment for services rendered
- Generate monthly vehicle usage reports, quarterly personal mileage reports and present these to upper management as needed.
- Schedule fleet maintenance and repairs, monitor fuel levels
- Process with Govt. authorities’ offices for permissions and approvals.
- Flexible in reallocation and timings.
- Authorized to allocate vehicles to drivers based on task priorities, availability, and vehicle type.
- Manage trip scheduling, reroute vehicles as needed, and adjust plans for emergencies, maintenance

- Plan and Adjust Daily Schedules /Coordinate Transport Requests
Experience & Qualification :
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management or Equivalent
- Valid UAE Light Vehicle Driving License.
- 5 Years’ experience in the fleet management
- Strong written and communication skills
- Ability to multitask and function under pressure
Knowledge & Skills:
- Understanding of basic vehicle mechanics, including the ability to identify when major repairs are needed.
- Knowledge for obtaining distribution, parking permits, branding permits, and vehicle loading permits.
- Principles and practices of employee supervision, including work planning, assignment, review and evaluation, discipline, and the training of staff in safe work procedures
- Principles and practices of repair, overhaul, servicing and preventive maintenance of heavy and light gasoline and diesel-powered equipment and other relevant codes and regulations.
- Knowledge of Microsoft applications, ERP software and GPS tracking solutions.
- Knowledge of routes and modern vehicles in the market.
